A lovely warm day today although the sun only shone occasionally. We caught a bus down into the centre of Antibes and then another out to Cap d'Antibes to do the coastal walk around it. Peter, Hannah and the children had stayed in Antibes for a week in the Easter holiday and had enjoyed this walk, so Peter gave us some info on where to start. On the No.2 bus we met a very nice American couple who live part-time in Paris and every now and then on the walk we passed each other and of course, met up again when waiting for the bus back to town.

A lot of the way the path is beautifully stone paved, then there are steps up and down, and in between parts that are very rough rocky stretches.

There were other people doing the walk but it was never crowded. We think this is a very good time of year to be here. It wasn't as busy or as challenging as the Cinque Terre - perhaps we should have done this first as training - but equally beautiful and very well worth the visit.
