How lovely to wake up to a blue sky on my birthday! I received some lovely cards and messages - thank you. I've had a super day with our friends. We walked the 4k beside the river
to the next village, Pierre-la-Treiche, where we'd booked a table in the restaurant, Chalet Beaurivage.
We spent 2 hours on the terrasse enjoying a super lunch, then walked back on the other side of the river, finding a few geocaches along the way. Back 'home' then for a lazy rest-of-the-day.
